This role is part of our System & Network Admin team, which provides IT services across Times Internet businesses.

We’re looking for a skilled Linux System Administrator who is passionate about managing and improving Linux-based systems and infrastructure. If you enjoy problem-solving, automating workflows, and ensuring system stability, this role is an exciting opportunity for you.

Work Responsibilities:

• Monitor system performance, resource usage, and availability
• Manage users, groups, and access permissions
• Analyze logs and respond to alerts or incidents promptly
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and IT teams to support applications and deployments
• Manage web servers (Apache, Nginx) and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Automate tasks with shell scripts, Ansible, or other tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues
• Ensure systems follow security and hardening practices

Key Technical Skills:

Linux administration, Bash scripting, Ansible, Apache, Nginx, MySQL, PostgreSQL, VMware, KVM, AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Linux OS (Red Hat, Debian, Ubuntu, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with scripting and automation tools
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, KVM) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or equivalent certification
• Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware, software, and networks
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Preferred: Experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Education: BCA/BTech or related qualification
